Quartzsite Quickie

Just a quick post about a Quartzsite legend; today I went to the local used bookstore with the artists.  They also sent me there the first time I came to visit, without telling me WHY I should go!  I got some great free hardcover books and magazines (and bought a few mags and a map) to use for an altered book project I'll post about later.

Anyway, while I was there I thought I'd share the scene with my friends.

 

No, that is not quite full nudity, though it sure looks like it from this angle! This is the bookstore owner and he is a very cool guy, well-known locally (even a spread in the current local paper about his music career), and there is a good article online here.

If you're in Quartzsite, it's worth a visit!
