Hoover Dam

Last stop on the way back to Vegas was the Hoover Dam. We first walked onto the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge that we had just driven over to get there; this bypass has a concrete-separated pedestrian bridge.  Very dizzying to look down at the river below!  It starts out in Nevada and crosses into Arizona over the water.  After walking back and forth we went to the top of the dam itself, where traffic used to go right over it before the bypass was made.  Now it may as well be a pedestrian bridge itself.  Vertigo came again looking directly down at the concrete span.  We didn't do any tours but wandered around looking for an old train tunnel trail - turns out it would've been a few miles and we didn't have time, but got a few restricted/condemned area looking pics.
